SCIENCE: January 12th, 2019
The Moon Rocks!
Students will learn about the composition of the Earth and Moon. Geology here on Earth, is it much different than Geology on the Moon?

Students will learn about the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter!

ENGINEERING: March 9th, 2019
The Weird World of Weightlessness!
What would it be like to live on the moon? If I weigh 60 lbs. here on Earth what will I weigh on the moon?

'Fazes' of the Moon!
What makes the moon change it's shape in the night sky? Does it affect the Earth in any way, what else could the moon's phases affect?
MATH: May 11th, 2019

Where can we go from the moon? Our Solar System is waiting for us!
Workshops are for students in grades 3 through 5 and are linked to the Florida Standards for 5th grade science.
Workshops are $25 per student and run from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Each workshop is limited to 16 students.

STEAM Space Mission Statement
The goal of STEAM Space is to utilize the rich history and promising future of the American space program as a foundation for STEM/STEAM classes, camps, Makerspaces, and after-school activities targeted to students grades K-12, with an emphasis on under-served and at-risk youth. We will further seek to instill in these youngsters the critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership and teamwork skills necessary for success in the 21st Century.
