Park Open Hours
• Unless designated otherwise, Brevard County Parks open after 7:00 a. m. and close at dark.
• Parks with Community Centers and Athletic Facilities are open after dark for scheduled activities.
They are often available for rentals and special events.
• Boat Ramps are open 24 hours a day.

Parrish Park - Scottsmoor

This 16.95-acre neighborhood park is located west of U.S. 1 in Scottsmoor. Landscaped with palms and hardwood trees, the recreational facilities and Historic Schoolhouse Ruins are popular attractions. The pavilion, picnic area, playground, benches, drinking fountain and restrooms complement softball field activity and invite family gatherings.

Scottsmoor Landing

Located in the northernmost part of the county, this 3.05-acre community river park accesses the Indian River Lagoon. Facilities include picnic tables, benches, a boat ramp, port-o-lets, and parking for 19 cars and 15 boats.

This .8-acre boating area featuring a natural dirt launch area is located north of Wiley Road in Mims on the Indian River.

Six Mile Creek

Boat ramps open 24 hours a day.
Located in the Six Mile Creek Wildlife Refuge, this 4.15-acre community river park features a boat ramp with unpaved parking for up to 50 cars and boat trailers. The ramp allows access to the St. John's River six miles southwest through Little Salt Lake, Salt Lake, Loughman Lake and Clark Lake.

This 15-acre park offers sport fishing from shoreline or boat. Features include a boat ramp accessing the St. Johns River and port-o-lets. Primitive camping by permit on weekends.

H. & H. Moore Park
2180 Freedom Avenue, Mims
The 11.93-acre community park honors the Moores who were parents, educators, and leaders in the civil rights movement both locally and nationally. Located on the property of the original Moore family home site, the complex includes a 5,000 sq. ft. Cultural Center, a replica of the destroyed Moore home, a library, a giftshop, and landscaped grounds. Programs include visual, literary and performing arts, museum and outreach exhibits.

This 41.13-acre community park is home to Mims Little League. Facilities include youth baseball fields, batting cage, basketball court and a pavilion with grills. A playground and park benches are located in a shaded area. A 2-story restroom/concession/meeting room facility.

A neighborhood gathering place since 1913. It houses a gymnasium, activity room, Learning Center, and a Child Care Association program. On the grounds are active sport facilities and a shaded area with a playground, benches and 2 pavilions with grills, and an Annex with Kitchen and Stage. Available for rentals and special events on weekends.

The Park, with walking & biking trails and beautiful landscaping, serves as a trailhead to the Coast to Coast Trail and the East Central Regional Rail Trail. It has many amenities such as educational kiosks, renovated restrooms, and fountains. Beautiful walk or bike ride around the park with some wildlife to watch.

Located north of the Titusville Marina, the facilities at this 20.35-acre community riverfront park include 3 boat ramps and dock, a softball field, off-leash dog park, skateboarding (not BMX bikes) park, picnic areas, gazebos, and restrooms. Shoreline fishing along the Indian River Lagoon is a popular pastime.

Sand Point Park
101 N Washington Avenue, Titusville
A popular 29.88-acre community river park on the Indian River. The Astronaut Memorial Plaza is located near the south side of the park. Dedicated on Flag Day, June 14, 1986 by City of Titusville, it commemorates the astronaut crews of the Apollo, the Challenger and Columbia Space Shuttles.
A blacktop walkway with .66-mile stationed exercise trail meanders through open and shaded areas, and the shoreline invites fishing. Facilities include an athletic concession building, picnic tables, picnic shelters, small pavilions, grills, playground, splash pad, wildlife watching, benches, and restrooms. A large pavilion with kitchen and grills is located near the shoreline. Home of the Indian River Festival and many community activities.

Space View Park

On the shore of the Indian River in downtown Titusville, this 2.63-acre community river park is landscaped with artistic sculpture, foliage, palms and hardwood trees. Benches, boardwalk, restrooms, fishing and boat dock, wildlife watching (birds & manatees), and a sheltered pier inspire leisurely strolls. As a cultural and historical site, the park features a Veterans Memorial and the U.S. Space Walk of Fame. Located less than 15 miles directly across from the Kennedy Space Center launch pads.

Titusville Veterans Memorial Fishing Pier
2 A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway, Titusville
Concession includes a restaurant, a bait shop offering bait and tackle, with shrimping lights and poles available to rent. Use of electricity by patrons bringing their own lights will also be available for a fee. The deck of the new pier has been lowered half the distance to the water, making it much more suitable for shrimping. The nearby A. Max Brewer bridge also has fishing piers.

This urban district river park is situated on both sides of SR-402 at the A. Max Brewer Causeway from the east end of the new bridge to the security gates for Kennedy Space Center. The 36.6-acre park provides convenient access to the Indian River for fishing, water sports, sunbathing and shuttle viewing. Recreational amenities include picnic shelters, restrooms, boardwalk, fishing pier, and boat ramps with paved parking for 46 cars and 47 boat trailer spaces. Unpaved parking for the river shoreline accommodates 100 vehicles.

This 5-acre park features a community center offering special interest and drop-in activities and an NTA Learning Center, Ballfield, Basketball Courts (2 full outdoor, lighted), Picnics, Playground. Landscaped with palm and hardwood trees, the tennis court, medium pavilion with kitchen, 3 grills, restrooms and gazebo, invite civic and private gatherings.

Gibson Complex & Field

This 32.64-acre community park is the Home of the Titusville Terriers Youth Football and Cheer Association. There's 2 lighted football fields and concession. The facility also includes a gymnasium and community facility. The gymnasium serves year-round as a site for youth and adult activities, leagues, and programs. Rental facility through our Athletics Department as long as it doesn't conflicts with the Titusville Terriers Youth Football and Cheer League schedule and any County events. A popular regional park in North Brevard, this 31.57-acre scenic getaway is ideal for large community events. A paved road loops through the many palm and ornamental trees. Facilities include 5 family picnic shelters, grills, playground, sand volleyball court, a fishing dock and a boat ramp (with access to South Lake from Fox Lake, and numerous channels to explore by canoe/kayak). 2 mid-sized pavilions and a large pavilion seating up to 1000 with kitchen and stage are available for rental. At this 25-acre community park tucked away just south of SR-50, visitors discover a natural Florida forest offering three distinct woodland habitats: a wetland area, hardwood hammock and upland pine forest. With its sandy nature trail and towering trees, the park is home to native plant and animal life so that visitors get a sense of the natural frontier. A short boardwalk leads across the wetland from the rustic Homer Powell Nature Center to the half-mile trail. A picnic area with grill is located in an open grassy area with the scenic wetland nearby.
There is also easy access to and from the City of Titusville Multi-use Trail, leading 1.8 miles from Wuesthoff to Imperial Estates Elementary School.

Serving the Port St. John and Titusville communities, this 5.15-acre community river park is located in Bellwood on the Indian River. The scenic environment, landscaped with palm and hardwood trees, invites picnics, play and leisurely strolls along the paved walkway and river boardwalk. Scattered throughout the park are picnic shelters, a medium pavilion, grills, with sheltered picnic tables along the lagoon boardwalk. Additional facilities include a playground, drinking fountain, benches, and a community center where activities and rental events are regularly scheduled.

Manatee Hammock Campground

Campground open to registered campers 24 hours a day.
On the shore of the Indian River Lagoon, this 26.45-acre campground is a shaded and quiet hammock of pines, palms and foliage providing habitat to squirrels and birds. The shoreline offers a fishing pier, 2 benches, and a perfect view of Kennedy Space Center shuttle launches. Campers have access to a recreation hall with a small swimming pool and grill, fire ring, mid-sized pavilion, grills, 2 shuffleboard courts, and horseshoe pits. 152 RV sites with water, electric and sewer. Tent and Nonprofit Group tent camping area. Rustic 0.2-mile Walking Trail.

Walter Butler Community Center
The 21.6 acre Bernice G. Jackson Park features the 18,000 sq. ft. Walter Butler Community Center with a gymnasium, banquet kitchen, large meeting room with divider, computer lab, 2 gamerooms, 1 small meeting room, and two sets of restrooms (one with showers). Facilities are available for rent. The center also serves as a hurricane shelter.

This 207.14-acre partially wooded regional park is located off Canaveral Groves Boulevard and is home of Port St. John Little League, Port St. John Rockets Youth Football and Cheerleading, Port St. John Soccer Club, and Sharx Football. Facilities include soccer, Little League baseball, and football fields, restroom/concession buildings, basketball court, drinking fountain, paved walkway, a model airplane field near a small lake, and a go-kart track, picnic areas, playground and wildlife watching.
