Due to alarming recent increases in confirmed COVID cases, along with new guidance from the CDC, The Valiant Air Command, Inc. will reinstate it’s mask policy at the Warbird Museum.
Effective immediately, museum visitors, volunteers, staff and VAC Members must wear masks or face coverings in all indoor areas, including the hangars. Hand sanitizing and social distancing protocols are back in effect and high touch areas (door handles, restrooms, etc.} will be cleaned and sanitized multiple times throughout the day. However, temperature screening will not be reinstated.
The Valiant Air Command Board of Directors is taking this action out of an abundance of caution and a commitment to safety. Therefore, Warbird Museum COVID protocols apply to everyone regardless of vaccination status.
Thank you for your understanding and support of the Valiant Air Command, Inc. Warbird Museum.

New paint job. Z8 is the actual alph-numeric code that represented the 84th Troop Carrier Squadron (TCS); somewhere along the line they had her "sister" unit's U5 ... which for years we thought was us.
VAC's STEM programs open to all
July 30, 2021
In recognition of the Valiant Air Command, Inc.'s highly successful STEM program, the City of Titusville recently produced a video highlighting the program to market to other potential school-age beneficiaries.
We thought you'd enjoy seeing the video and sharing it with school-age youngsters who may have an interest in an aviation career.
Bill Teixeira who heads our STEM program for youth converted our classroom sessions to online virtual sessions. Keeping young people who are used to interactive skills learning has been a challenge. Joel McGinley has contributed his knowledge and skills to these sessions. Bill along with Ron Davis have written and applied for a Walmart grant to cover costs of classroom materials for the 2021 sessions. Everyone involved wants to get back to our classroom at the VAC. The STEM sessions are offered free to participating students.
