Fly-In Breakfasts SUSPENDED
Due to the construction activities taking part on the airport runways, the Fly-In/Drive-In Monthly Breakfasts are suspended/cancelled until June 2022
We regret this interruption in our social activities and look forward to seeing each and everyone of you when the monthly breakfast is served again. Keep a eye out for our announcement that breakfast is being served again!
Note that the speaking event with Gary Powers, Jr. will be rescheduled for a future date.
Thank you for your understanding,
The Valiant Air Command Board of Directors
Tico Belle, C-47, in flight - March, 2010

New paint job. Z8 is the actual alph-numeric code that represented the 84th Troop Carrier Squadron (TCS); somewhere along the line they had her "sister" unit's U5 ... which for years we thought was us.

VAC's STEM programs open to all
July 30, 2021
In recognition of the Valiant Air Command, Inc.'s highly successful STEM program, the City of Titusville recently produced a video highlighting the program to market to other potential school-age beneficiaries.
We thought you'd enjoy seeing the video and sharing it with school-age youngsters who may have an interest in an aviation career.
Bill Teixeira who heads our STEM program for youth converted our classroom sessions to online virtual sessions. Keeping young people who are used to interactive skills learning has been a challenge. Joel McGinley has contributed his knowledge and skills to these sessions. Bill along with Ron Davis have written and applied for a Walmart grant to cover costs of classroom materials for the 2021 sessions. Everyone involved wants to get back to our classroom at the VAC. The STEM sessions are offered free to participating students.
