The purpose of the 2013 event is to DEMONSTRATE the changes to the festival make-up and get people excited about watching the growth of the event in 2014. This is not intended to be a full festival. We will be inviting local dignitaries and media representatives to a kickoff celebration of the new Indian River Festival, and start a year-long awareness campaign for the 2014 event.
Sponsor Opportunities
Based on community feedback and desire, we are working to make this festival a FREE admission event. We are also attempting to engage as many local organizations as possible to take ownership in various pieces of the festival. The only way the Titusville Chamber can offer this activity with no public admission fee is through generous community sponsorships.

Artists and Crafters sought for the NEW Indian River Festival
Join the Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce in Sandpoint Park on April 13th and 14th for a preview of the changes they are making to the Indian River Festival.
"Our goal is to create a destination event that celebrates our Indian River and abundant natural resources, our local culture, and outdoor recreation and health," says Marcia Gaedcke, president of the Chamber. "We want families to get outdoors and have fun!"
Two features of this year's preview are the local entertainment and the local seafood.
"Several local restaurants have come together this year to provide fresh seafood that is sourced right from our own waters," says Cinthia Sandoval with Wild Ocean, a festival committee member. "You'll be able to enjoy mullet, oysters, shrimp and fish. If you're really into seafood - you can enter our shrimp eating contest on Saturday at 2:00 p.m."
There is still time for vendors to register. The festival has room for outdoor recreation providers, local cultural organizations, arts and crafts, health oriented organizations and more.
If you'd like to get involved, you can contact the Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce at 321-267-3036 or visit their website, www.titusville.org, and find the Indian River Festival on the calendar of events. All registration and sponsorship forms are there.
Additional information about this event may be obtained by contacting Marcia Gaedcke at 321-267-3036 or gaedcke@titusville.org.
