	Sea Oats are silhouetted against a brilliant red sunrise off the Canaveral National Seashore. A large thunderhead can be seen far out in the Atlantic Ocean.
	A great blue heron is silhouetted against the morning sky in this photograph looking east across the Mosquito Lagoon from the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
	Looking east across the Indian River Lagoon, the Kennedy Space Center is visible in this photograph.
	As the sun rises in the east, several seagulls land on the beach between the surge of the waves along the Canaveral National Seashore.

	The glasswort in bloom adds color to this photograph, taken from the Blackpoint Wildlife Drive on the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
	This scene is typical of the coastal areas of Florida. The red color is the result of blooming glasswort, which occurs in late August. This photograph was made on the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
	Hoping to catch a snook or perhaps a nice seatrout or redfish this fly fisherman was photographed in Dummitt Creek on the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
