EXOTIC PLANT REMOVAL - MOSQUITO LAGOON ISLANDS
Exotic plants are one of the greatest threats to Florida's natural ecosystems. In response, Canaveral National Seashore will be treating Brazilian Pepper on islands west of the Intracoastal Waterway in Mosquito Lagoon between January and March, 2012. Islands east of that point have already been treated. Work will include use of an airboat to reach areas that are difficult to access. For more information, contact John Stiner or Candace Carter, Resource Management at 267-1110.
