INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP AT APOLLO BEACH
Canaveral National Seashore invites you to help clean up the seashore. On September 20th, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. we will participate in the International Coastal Cleanup. The park entrance fee will be waived during the program for all participants. Last year over 80 people participated and 1600 pounds of trash were removed from the beach and lagoon shores.Bring gloves and sunscreen. Trash bags and water will be provided, please bring your own reusable water bottle to cut down on trash. T-shirts will be given to first 100 people to sign in. There will also be hot dogs and drinks provided from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
