CANAVERAL NATIONAL SEASHORE AT PLAYALINDA BEACH DIRECTED TO CLOSE FOR SHUTTLE LANDING
CONTACT: Eric Lugo at 321-267-1110In compliance with instructions from NASA, Canaveral National Seashore at Playalinda Beach in Brevard County will close at 8:00 p.m. on June 20, 2007 in preparation for the shuttle landing, which is planned for Thursday morning. The landing may be delayed until Friday or Saturday if landing conditions on Thursday are not favorable.
Playalinda Beach will re-open the day after the shuttle lands.
