321-867-4077The National Park Service has long been trying to guarantee that all of our park websites contain the most accurate and up-to-date information possible. We all know what four years of explosive growth on the Internet have done to the public's demand for all types of information. Through a database called Park Profiles, parks are now able to publish park information in a consistent and up-to-date format. Now visitors in every part of the country may access the websites of all National Parks and receive current information. The new Websites help reinforce the NPS identity, as each website has a standard look.
On May 25, 2000, Canaveral National Seashore's new web site came on-line. Park visitors may now access the website at http://www.nps.gov/cana/ and obtain the latest information about the park.
Links include current information about shuttle launch activities, current weather conditions, news releases, park programs, park facilities, camping, children's activities, plus many other special features about the park. The Superintendent and staff of the park invited the public to visit the new website and we welcome your comments and suggestions.
