STEAM Saturdays at the U.S. Space Walk of Fame Museum

STEAM Saturdays
STEAM Station Saturdays
STEAM Encounters...and more!

Join Us. On April 22, 2015 at the museum and at Space View Park for fun activities as we take part in the "March for Science."

We are initiating a variety of hands-on workshops for kids of all ages.

Students will learn about the influence of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) on space exploration with activities linked to the Florida Standards for fifth grade science.

Beginning in May, our summer calendar will feature STEAM Station Saturdays, every fourth Saturday. Bring your children (of all ages) to visit the various STEAM stations in the museum. There, they will perform experiments, build things and discover that science and technology are fun! Admission to the museum is FREE for everyone on STEAM Station Saturdays!

Stay tuned for our new STEAM Saturday and STEAM Encounter workshop schedule — and also our schedule of classes in our new Whispering Hills satellite classroom!

STEAM Space Mission Statement
The goal of STEAM Space is to utilize the rich history and promising future of the American space program as a foundation for STEM/STEAM classes, camps, Makerspaces, and after-school activities targeted to students grades K-12, with an emphasis on under-served and at-risk youth. We will further seek to instill in these youngsters the critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership and teamwork skills necessary for success in the 21st Century. Get more information about all our programs here.
