The Moore Cultural Complex is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Healthy Living Festival, Empowering our Community to Live Well will be held Saturday September 30th 2017!June 28, 2017 — The Healthy Living Festival is a collaboration of resources to empower our community of all ages, to live healthy, happy and well. Amidst the 12 acres of the Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore Memorial Park and Museum in Mims on Saturday, September 30th 2017 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm there will be an offering of various health and safety information tables, health screenings, health safety and wellness presentations, interactive activities, music, dance and spoken word entertainment free to the community of all ages. The Moore Culture Complex carries the legacy of Harry T. & Harriette V. Moore with the core belief of educating, edifying, and uniting the community, and this is exactly what we will be doing on September 30th 2017 at the 2nd Annual Healthy Living Festival. This event will cater to over 500 guests and the committee is planning on holding another very successful festival! This event will be free to the community of all ages to attend and we humbly invite you be a part of this community festival.
We invite you to submit an event commitment application for participation in The Moore Cultural Complex 2nd Annual Healthy Living Festival! There is NO Charge to participate, but we do ask you to donate a chance drawing prize item. Display information must be appropriate for family viewing. Each representative is responsible for set up of their tables and displays. One six foot table and two chairs will be provided. Information Tables will be outdoors in 10' x 10' spaces. Tent canopies are allowed. Health Screenings will be offered indoors. Set Up begins at 7:00AM on the day of the event.
