Road Closures

Black Point Wildlife Drive will be closed for annual maintenance repairs on 9/29/08 and will reopen to the public in approximately two weeks from the closing date, 10/12.

Peacocks Pocket, Catfish Creek, West Gator Creek, Shiloh Marsh and L Pond dike roads are closed for repairs due to hurricane damage.
Reopening dates are unknown at this time.

Public Notices

The refuge visitor center is now closed on Sundays.

Shuttle Launch Closures:
The refuge typically closes to the public three days prior and the day of the shuttle launch. It may remain closed if the launch is delayed and rescheduled. The refuge typically closes during the day of a shuttle landing. Please call 321-861-0667 for addtional information.
