JUNIOR RANGER ACTIVITY BOOK

JUNIOR RANGERS AT THE SEASHORE

The Rangers and volunteers at Canaveral National Seashore invite children, ages 6 to 12, and their parents to visit the Park. Join us for a Junior Ranger program, bring a picnic lunch, and then spend the day at the beach. The programs are designed to show children that Canaveral National Seashore is a special place.

Programs take place in both districts of the park. Call 386-428-3384 for North District Programs, near New Smyrna Beach or 321-867-4077 for South District Programs near Titusville. Programs may be canceled when shuttle launch activities close the South District of the seashore.

Children attending park programs must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. To be Junior Rangers children must attend at least three different programs, pick up a bag of trash from the beach. They must do a project of their own choosing that shows what they have learned during the programs. Children will receive a booklet in which to log their activities, a Junior Ranger certificate and a colorful patch.
