Jr Ranger Patch       Jr Ranger Canaveral National Seashore Patch


Basic Junior Ranger Program. Children are required to attend three park programs, pick up a bag of trash in the park and do a special arts & crafts program on their own showing what they've learned during their time in the park. After completion of all the activities children are awarded a Junior Ranger patch and certificate.

One Day Junior Ranger Program. Children may pick up a Junior Ranger Activity Book at the Playalinda entrance station. Once they have completed the activities and returned the book, the child will receive a Junior Ranger sticker and certificate.

All activities will be at Eddy Creek. Bring water, sunscreen, and repellent. A parent or guardian must also stay for the program.

PLEASE NOTE: all programs are subject to cancellation and/or rescheduling due to staff limitations, weather conditions, or other factors. Some programs require reservations, a minimum age, or a cost-recovery fee. Call 386-428-3384 ext. 0 or 321-403-9334 for program information during operating hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). After you have completed the activities in the Junior Ranger Activity Book, you are eligible to become a Junior Ranger. Take your completed book to the Entrance Station at the South District (Playalinda) or the Visitor Center at the North District (Apollo). You will receive a Junior Ranger decal and a Park Ranger or Park Volunteer will sign your book.
