Lots of Activities at the TICO Air Show
Before & After the Show Itself

Try our special "Beer Garden" Tent area with limited seating for those who want to be right on the crowd line and enjoy the show in special seating with access to Beer and snacks. Ticket and Beer Garden Option is $35. Beer Garden Tickets are available in advance through TicketDerby or at our Museum gift shop. There will be limited seating available each day of the airshow at the tent entrance if you want to take your chances.

Reserved Seating:

Reserve a seat.

Most of our visitors bring their own lawn chairs or blankets but if you want seating right at crowd center we have a limited seating area available only at show. The price is $5. for a white folding chair in this area but it is on a first come, first serve basis and we sell out early each year, so make sure you come in the morning, get a good seat and see all the exhibits, displays and vendors.

Food/Vendor lines:

Great variety of food vendors.

So much to choose from! Food vendors of every description and all kinds of memorabilia, T-shirts, hats and more. Pizza, hotdogs, hamburgers, ice cream and many other choices. Stroll the lines and find that perfect snack and souvenir to take home as an airshow memory.

PX TENT/VAC Gift Shop:

PX tent with gift shop.

The Valiant Air Command has a special tent for all those hard to find vintage warbird and Airshow themed items: T-shirts, caps, souvenirs & memorabilia. We will also have several book sellers in our PX Tent autographing copies of their unique warbird related stories.

Aircraft Hotline:

The planes you will see in flight.

Stroll down our "hotline" which is where all the aircraft that will participate in the airshow are staged. You can talk to pilots, owners and aircraft historians by each aircraft. Take pictures, get autographs and enjoy the experience of getting up close and touching the real thing.

Aircraft Static Line:

Some amazing planes to see up close.

Similar to our "hotline" these are static/exhibit aircraft that will not fly in the show, but are nevertheless are great examples of vintage warbirds. From the famous F-4 Phantom to the famous WWII Wildcat, stroll through history and see all the great aircraft from WWI to present.

WWII Reinactors:

World War 2 reinactors

Stop and watch our WWII encampment and the mock battles. American soldiers dress in their Normandy Invasion uniforms fighting German soldiers across our infield. Talk with our reinactors and get a real history lesson. We will even have a special appearance by a unique group of Japanese soldier reinactors.

Classic and Antique Car Show:

Antique & Classic car show.

Another great attraction; walk around all those classic 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s automobiles. Many different makes and models. Let your memory float back to those "Happy Days." We will also have vehicles on display from the "Florida Fly-Wheelers," which have some great antique Model As and Model Ts. If you are a car enthusiast, this is a must see.

Amusement Area:

Good sized amusement area.

Something to delight every child. Several rides, games and entertainment vendors. Walk around and find the right delight for your young one.

Information Exhibits:

Numerous informative exhibits.

We have a limited number of special exhibitors on the field, that are here to provide you with information about their facilities or organizations. From the Civil Air Patrol to Kennedy Space Center, there's information for everyone. Walk around and find something of interest and learn more about it from the representatives on the field.

Ride Hoppers:

Ride in a Huey helicopter and other aircraft.

If you want to ride in an aircraft, this is the perfect opportunity. There are several sizes, types and prices to choose from. You can ride in smaller aircraft like a Bi-wing WACO, or something larger like a famous WWII B-17 Bomber, or the VAC's own Normandy Invasion veteran C-47 "Tico Belle." There will even be helicopters like the UH-1 Huey or AH-1G Cobra Gunship giving rides. Prices are dependent on each owner and available at the aircraft at the Airshow.
