3 -- 1776 Independence Day Celebration - Downtown Historic Titusville
- 6:00pm - 9:00pm -- Downtown Historic Titusville will be decorated with bunting.
- Merchants and vendors will dress in period clothing and share their history.
- The event is themed a Lemonade and Ice Cream social which is noted in the social gatherings of our town.
- Antiques, crafts, and demonstrators will be on hand to help with that old time feel.
- Roz Foster from North Brevard Heritage Society will be providing walking historic tours.

- Space Coast Regional Airport entrance off of Grissom Parkway - same as AirShow.

- Aircraft on display. Valiant Air Command PX (store) on airfield.
- Flybys at approximately 5:30, 6:45 and 8:45pm.

8 -- Canaveral National Seashore Closed for Endeavour Shuttle Launch
- Playalinda Beach will close at 6:00 pm on July 7, 2009, in preparation for the July 11th Endeavour Shuttle Launch STS-127.
