Main Street Coast to Coast Trail Plans

City Council and the Community Redevelopment Agency approved the Coast to Coast Trail design on Main Street from the railroad tracks to Indian River Avenue on August 17, 2016 at a special meeting. The design chosen maximizes the number of parking spaces on Main Street between Washington Avenue and Indian River Avenue with thirty (30) spaces so that no parking spaces are lost.

The area between Washington Avenue and Indian River Avenue will be one-way eastward and provide parallel parking spaces on both sides of Main Street. The dual direction trail will be located on the south side of Main Street. The design will also formalize four (4) parallel parking spaces on the south side of Main Street in front of the First Baptist Church between Hopkins Avenue and Palm Avenue.
